Splaine, Larry
(Employee of Goodrich and Michelin Tires for 28 years)
Passed away after a courageous battle with a rare cancer disorder at the Freeport Health Centre, Kitchener on Tuesday August 24th, 2004 at the age of 54 years.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife Linda; his mother Doris (late Garfield Splaine); brothers Brian, Darwin, Michael, and sisters Darlene, Marilyn, Connie and their families; step-children Hugh (Steph), Tabitha (Bill), Tricia (Dude); step-grandchildren Justin, Chantelle, Christie and Jordan; and his sister-in-law Cheryl (Paul); and his godson Dayton Splaine. Larry will be forever remembered as a "car buff " who enjoyed working on cars as well as for his love of camping and animals.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Wednesday September 1st from 7 to 9 p.m.; and Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Wesley United Church would be appreciated)

 

WHITE, Nancy Elleda
Passed away peacefully in the Pembroke General Hospital on Tuesday, August 31st, 2004 in her 93rd year.

Nancy White (nee Tate) of Beachburg, beloved wife of the late John H. White. Dearly loved mother of Marion Robertson (late husband Craig), Beachburg; Naida Robinson (husband Harold), Beachburg; Delta Boldt (husband Robert), Smiths Falls; and Edgar White (wife Esther), Beachburg. Grandmother of 16 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by sisters Lizzie Thrasher, Mae Dunlop, Mattie England, Eva England, Anita White, infant twin sisters and brothers Keith, Wesley & Nelles Tate.Survived by 1 sister-in-law Sybil White, Westmeath and many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Gordon & Frances Tate (nee Moore).

Passed away suddenly as the result of an accident on Thursday, August 26th, 2004 at the age of 32 years.

Chris Wright of Pembroke beloved husband of Cindy Wright (nee Lewis). Loving father of Kai Harold Christopher & Lexi Evelyn Rose Wright. Dearly loved son of Jim & Sharen Wright and son-in-law of Lillian & Rick Lewis, all of Pembroke. Brother of Jennifer Hanic (husband Bob), Montana, USA. Grandson of Lennox Wright (late Jean). Survived by his uncle Terry Scheuneman (wife Darlene), Lake Dore and aunt Joyce Leach (husband Daryl), Micksburg. Brother-in-law of Sherry Lewis (Dave Priebe) and Krista Lewis, both of Pembroke. Survived also by Cindy's grandparents Bertha Lewis (late Harold) and June Lance (Pat), all of Pembroke. Chris will be missed by his dogs Feebie & Blue.

Daughter of the late George and Ella Hampel (nee Gust). Dear sister of Vera Zadow (husband late Richard), Round Lake; and Carolyn (Lyn) Hamilton (husband Jim), Pembroke. Sister-in-law to Ken and Imelda Burchart, Round Lake. Aunt Bev will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.

RASEWYCH, Nancy Eileen
In the Palliative Care Unit of Marianhill, Pembroke on Thursday August 19th, 2004 at the age of 53 years.

Today we lost our wife, mom, nana, daughter,sister, aunt and friend. After a courageous battle with cancer, she was called to her eternal rest.

Nancy Rasewych (nee Klawitter) of 682 Fischer Street, Pembroke will be missed more than words can say by her family; husband Gerry, children Michael, Christine and Jaimie McInnes; and her precious granddaughters Emily, Abby and Olivia McInnes. Beloved daughter of John and Hilda Klawitter. Dear sister of Helen Brszyenski, Ruth and Glenn Johnston, Irene and Bill Kennedy, Ken and Carol Klawitter, Joan and George Schimmens, Grant and Carole Klawitter, Gary Klawitter, Emma and Vince Rabishaw, Brian and Maria Klawitter, and Donna and Terry Heiderman. Daughter-in-law of Barbara Rasewych, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends, all of whom were loved and cherished by Nancy.

Predeceased by son Brian Pappin. Mother-in-law to Alana Pappin, Whitby. Nanny Pappin to Keith Brown (wife Kim), Michael Brown (wife Crystal) and David Brown; Julie Mitchell (husband Kevin), Jeffrey Carey and Jason Carey; Shawn Pappin (wife Jamie), and Tricia Iskric (husband Michael); and great grandchildren Nicholas, Mitchell, Andrew; Allison, Joshua, Brooke, Rayden and Declan. Daughter of the late Cornellius and Elizabeth Haley (nee Lavioulette). Predeceased by brother Charles Haley.

Dear mother to Jim (wife Sharon), Pembroke; Gary (wife Barbara), Belleville; Leanne Truelove, London; and Dan, Mackenzie, B.C.. Grandmother to 11 grandchildren. Sister to Malcolm LaHaise (wife Mary), Lanark, Ont. Predeceased by 3 brothers and by parents Emile & Edith LaHaise.
