THRASHER, Rhodella Lavina Rhodella Thrasher, formerly of Toronto, born in Magnetawan, Ontario to parents Alphonse and Phillippine Raaflaub (nee Schade). Rhodella is predeceased by her beloved husband Everett Thrasher, her sisters Freda Leach, Orma Giroux, Elva, and Delphine; and brothers Rheinhold, Clarence, Garfield, Lincoln and Olen Raaflaub. Dear sister-in-law of Doris Spafford, Miramichi, New Brunswick. "Aunt Dellie" was dearly loved by many nieces, nephews and their families. Respected stepfather of Kevin Arnold (Cathy), Halifax; Philip Arnold (Shirley) and Alan Arnold (Joy), all of Western Australia. Predeceased by his parents Fredrik and Johanna Hofstee, and brother Johanes. Survived by brothers Frits (Frances), Karel (Sharron), and Sylvia Alberts (Frank), all of Western Australia. Loving Opa to eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Nick was a member of Unit 19 Korean Veterans of Sudbury. In accordance with Nick's wishes, there will be no visitation. Our Mere, Ida Patterson (nee Randall) died on Monday, November 15, 2004. We were all graced by her presence and loving spirit. She will be missed in this world and joyfully welcomed in the next, especially by her husband "Mup" A.A. (Pat) Patterson and 5 of her brothers. There are memories to share and so many things to say thank you for. Kelly Samson (Michael): It was you who showed my how to make others happy and always told me "Do onto others as you would have them do onto you". Because of you I learned to make others laugh, but yet learned to stand my ground. For this I will always be grateful, and I will never let anyone ever forget how wonderful a mother and mere you really were. Love always pee wee. Christopher Samson (Heather nee Badgley): Whatever game I wanted to play, especially parcheesi, you were always happy to play, including always letting me win. My love for you will never die. Cory Samson: no matter how down and out I was, you always knew how to make me smile. You will forever be in my heart and I was proud to have you as my grandma. Patricia Tamosetis (Larry): Thank you for leading me as gently through your death as you guided me through my life. Loff Lou.
