Passed away peacefully in hospital, Pembroke surrounded by his children on Tuesday August 29th, 2006 at the age of 72 years.

Earl Sunderland, resident of the Country Haven Retirement Home, Beachburg, proud father of Elizabeth Dobson (Jim), Cobden; Bill Sunderland, Pembroke; Anne Lawrence (Steven), Unionville; Sandra Mask (Vernie), Round Lake Centre; and Susan Berger (George), Pembroke. Predeceased by son Robert. Loving grandfather of Jayme and Jayson; Jeri, Julie, Jenni, Emily and Katherine; Alyssa and Joshua; and Ellen. Great-grandpa to Morgan and Rylee. Son of the late Harold and Ella Sunderland (nee Coates). Predeceased by brothers Kenneth and Ernest Sunderland. Husband of Diana Sunderland (nee Minnie). "Dad, you will be in our hearts always".

BUNKE, William Earl
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home on Saturday, August 26th, 2006 in his 48th year.

 
William Bunke of Pembroke beloved husband of Cynthia (nee Schroeder).  Dearly loved father of Robert Bunke and Kyle Bunke.  Brother of Susan Godin (Wayne), Kanata; Bettyanne Brown (Stephen), Pembroke; and Barbara Lepine (Brian), Petawawa.  Predeceased by his brother Robert Bunke.  Son of Dorothy and the late Earl Bunke (nee Biesenthal).  Brother-in-law to Donna-Lynn Eddy (Nelson), Chalk River; Cheryl-Ann Turcotte (Carey), Pembroke; and Shawn Schroeder (Kelly), also of Pembroke.  Son-in-law of Theresa Regener and the late Nelson Schroeder.  Survived by many nieces and nephews. 
 
Memorial Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday from 12 until 2:00 p.m.  Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. in the Chapel followed by a reception in Calvin United Church Hall.  (In lieu of flowers donations to CHEO or the CHEO Cancer United would be appreciated).  Members of the Pembroke Lodge A.F. & A.M. #128 are requested to assemble at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. for a service

Peacefully in the Marianhill Palliative Care Unit with her family by her side on Friday, August 25th, 2006 at the age of 61 years.

June Hoffman (nee Musclow) of 108 Dagenais St., Mansfield, Quebec, dearly loved wife of Garry Hoffman.  Dear mother of Todd Hoffman (wife Victoria), Mansfield, Que.; Ann Hoffman, Pembroke; and Lisa Hoffman, Mansfield, Que.  Granny to Portia, August and Abraham; Cole and Claudia.  Daughter of the late Leo and Anne Musclow (nee Felhaber).  Sister of Doris Oelke (husband late Elmer), Petawawa.  Predeceased by sister Janice Dick.

Bennie Robinson, dearly loved husband of the late Oletta Robinson (nee McQuirter).  Dear father of Helen Maves (husband late Morris), Pembroke; and Robert (Bob) Robinson (wife Beth), Westmeath.  Predeceased by son Bennett (Bennie) Robinson (wife Pauline), Pembroke.  Grandpa to Colleen Price (Jim), Shelley Maves, Susan Maves, Angela Maves, Bennett Robinson Jr., and Bonnie Cliche (Benje) and 4 great-grandchildren.  Son of the late Joseph and Jenny Robinson (nee Coffee).  Brother of Violet Psovsky, Saskatchewan; and Gurlie Dunn, California.  Predeceased by brothers George, James, Rowan and Stewart Robinson; and sisters Isabel Kidd, Marguerite Graham and Eleanor McVeigh.

NIEMAN, Percy Lawrence
Passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, August 19th, 2006 in his 78th year.

Percy Nieman of 4 Sack Rd., Petawawa, dearly loved husband of Laurinda Nieman (nee Hampel).  Dear father of Joan Moffatt (husband Alan), Bocabec, New Brunswick; Marilyn Pappin (husband Merrill), Pembroke; Evelyn Kuseler (husband Earl), Renfrew; Norma Moore (husband Jim), Frankfurt, Ontario; Gerald Nieman (wife Annette), Pembroke; Nancy Clarke (husband Charles), Edmonton, Alberta; and D'Arcy Nieman (wife Brenda), Pembroke. Grandpa to 13 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren. Son of the late Henry and Emma Nieman (nee Nitschke).  Brother of Garfield Nieman (wife Naomi), Pembroke; Ernstena Gorr, Pembroke; and George Nieman (wife Anita), Petawawa.  Predeceased by brothers Herman, Edward and Allan Nieman.  Brother-in-law to Dorothy Nieman, Kitchener.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

SCHULTZ,  Mary Jean
Passed away peacefully on Monday, August 14th, 2006 in her 84th year with her family present while in the loving care of the staff of 2B at Miramichi Lodge, where her enduring smile and good nature through times of adversity was enjoyed by all.

 
Mary Schultz (nee Fraser) of Pembroke, originally of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia beloved wife of  the late Harold Donald Schultz (deceased 1981) whom she met in Halifax, Nova Scotia while both were serving their country during WWII.   As the matron of the family she leaves behind daughter Donna Moss (husband Conrad) and son Ray Schultz (wife Marguerite).  Predeceased by an infant boy and an infant girl.  Grandmother of Jeffrey Moss (Joanne), Jennifer Forrester (Mark),  and Julie Hughes (Scott).  Great-grandmother of Mariah and Riley Moss; Brian and Thomas Forrester; and Norah and Nathan Hughes.  Daughter of the late James R. and Mary L. Fraser (nee Cook).  She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters Isabelle Fraser; Basil Fraser (Patricia); Margaret Cook (Joseph); Jairus Fraser (Jean); and Spurgeon Fraser (Irene). 
 Mary will be missed not only by her family but by the many friends she had during her years as a volunteer with various organizations such as the Canadian Cancer Society and Miramichi Lodge.  She met many friends through her love of bridge, horticulture and travel while she was able.  In Mary's own words "I have lived a full life; life has been good to me and it has blessed me in more ways than I can count."

Dear mother of Jerry Janes (wife Cheryl), Ottawa; Cordell Janes, Petawawa; Glenyce Jackson (husband Frank), Tillsonburg; Karl Janes, Pembroke; Keith Janes, Nepean; Donna Saulnier (husband Norman), Petawawa; Gregory Janes (wife Jenny), Kanata; and Gordon Janes (wife Angie), Petawawa. Nana to Jacob and Jackie; Trista and Christopher; Kyle and Jessica; Amanda, Jennifer, Jeffrey and Adam; Benjamin; Kaitlin and Grace; and Cody. Daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth Deering (nee Wareham). Sister of Gilbert Deering (wife Pauline), Ernest Deering (wife Effie), Violet King, Florence Morgan, and Elsie Reid. Predeceased by brothers Will & Sam Deering and sisters Sadie Legros, Bessie Baldwin, and Winnifred King. Survived by several nieces and nephews.

Irma Faulkner (nee Darnell) of 2745 Petawawa Blvd., Petawawa, Ontario and formerly of Shawville, Quebec and her winter vacation home in Eustis, Florida.  Dearly loved wife of the late Marshall Faulkner and by first marriage the late Rodger Ellington.  Loving stepmother of William T. (Mickey) Ellington (wife Gwen), Henderson, North Carolina; and mother of Faye Walker (husband late Harold), Colborne, Ontario; Billy Faulkner (wife Laurie), Fruitland Park, Florida; Peter Faulkner (friend Beverly), Eustis, Florida; Anne Tubman (husband Gary), Shawville, Quebec; and Debbie McMillan (husband Barry), Petawawa, Ontario.  Also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Daughter of the late Horace and Ava Darnell (nee Collier) and stepdaughter to the late Creolia B. Newton, North Carolina.  Sister of Marie Darnell Partin (husband Jimmy), Angier, North Carolina.  Predeceased by sister Annie Mae Stephenson, Pennsylvania; and brother Horace Calvines Darnell (Jack), Raleigh, North Carolina.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Passed away in the Montfort Hospital, Ottawa on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2006 in his 78th year.

 
Orville Stahlkie of 512 Boundary Rd., Pembroke dearly loved husband of the late Winnifred Stahlkie (nee Carter).  Dear father of Micheal Stahlkie (wife Lucie), Pembroke.  Predeceased by son Terry and daughter Christine Stahlkie.  Grandpa to Shawn & Shane Stahlkie.  Son of the late William and Lydia Stahlkie (nee Kruger).  Brother of Stella Lynn (late husband Thomas), Pembroke; Vera Hoffman (late husband Arnold), Pembroke; and Martha McKibbon (husband Mervin), Pembroke.  Predeceased by brother Ellard Stahlkie.  Survived by sister-in-law Eleanor Stahlkie, Petawawa, many nieces and nephews, and by his good friend Stacey Noddin.
