Regional Hospital on Sunday, January 29, 2012 in his 83rd year.

Versil Young of
Pembroke, beloved husband of Leona Young (nee Koops). Dear
father of John Young (Jane), Pembroke; Melanie Eichstaedt
(Ian), Petawawa; and Paul Young (Kesha), Ottawa.
Grandfather of Caleb, Emma, Liam & Aidan; Lucas; and James &
Grace. Brother of Idena Sheehan (Al), Vancouver BC. Son of
the late John & Georgina Young (nee Stone). Also survived
by several nieces and nephews. Versil was an avid supporter
of children's sports in his community.

Elton "Ollie" Gould,
of 580 Hamilton St., Pembroke, son of the late John and
Annie Gould (nee Schneider). Brother of the late Elva Oelke
(Stanley), Petawawa. Uncle to Phil Krueger (Karen),
Petawawa and Kim Roggie (Pat Visutski), Eganville.
Great-uncle to Mandy & Krista Krueger and Candice (Kirk
Zomers) & Matthew Roggie. Great-great-uncle to Kaydence &
Carter. Survived by Aunt Jean Snyder and many cousins.

Linda Gauthier (late George), Deep River; and Florence Holtz
(late Lester), Pembroke. Predeceased by brothers Norman
(late Marjorie) and Edgar (late Ethel). Son of the late
Thomas and Louise Pilatzke (nee Gutzeit). Also survived by
many nieces and nephews.

Passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday, January
19, 2012 at the age of 89 years.

Emma Breske Rees (nee Handke) of Pembroke,
beloved wife of the late Leslie Rees, and by first marriage
the late Wilfred Breske. Dear mother of Ken Breske
(Germaine), Orillia; Elizabeth Lovely (Keith), Sudbury;
Debbie Breske (George Verge), Sudbury; and Diana Breske,
Pembroke. Grandmother of Kim, Shelley & Carrie Breske;
Melissa Kennedy (Dave); and Lisa Peterson (Barrie); as well
as many great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 1 brother and 8
sisters; as well as parents Ernest and Louisa Handke (nee
Hilderbrandt). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
By request there will be no visitation or service at
this time. Cremation has taken place, and a Graveside
Memorial Service will be held in St. John's Lutheran
